g. olmo stuppia (born in '91 in Milan with deep Sicilian roots and a hybrid heritage from the islands), earned a Master's degree in Visual Arts from IUAV in 2017 in Venice with a full ESU Fellowship. Working as an author and contemporary artist since 2013, he primarily focuses on the flow of things, social structures, and islands. He expresses himself through texts, installations, poems, and experimental cinema. His profound interest centers around "deserted islands" and archaeology, particularly exploring the notion of time through languages of water cultures. Venice and Palermo serve as a counterpoint to the "nightmare of total illuminations." He received a Fellow at IUAV University AltroVe in 2019. In 2022, he was invited by the Public Program of the Italian Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia to create and produce "Sposare la notte." He was an invited artist at Poush Manifesto in 2021 in Paris. Since 2017, he founded Cassata Drone Expanded Archive, an international nonprofit platform aimed at triggering perspectives and producing content on the gaze of weapons (drones and AI) through cinema and the arts.He's artworks was exhibited in various Institutions including the Triennale di Milano, Fondazione Sandretto, INHA Paris, ArtCity24, and the Museo Riso in Palermo, among others. In 2024, he won the First Absolute Prize for Contemporary Art Veneto Region at Palazzo Balbi.

A shopping cart with an FM and web pirate radio used as a mobile sculpture crosses the small fishing village of Marano Lagunare (Trieste, Italy). On the trolley is also placed a kitchen used to recreate a community. The project was produced by Kallipolis, Regione Friuli & Europena Funds ; Thanks to the City Council Fund of Crema (Milan), the projects was performan also in 2021 dedicated to the italian antropologist Clara Gallini.

2019 - until 2025 Milano con Destrezza, Viafarini invites me to propose a new project during residency. The work presents as a "manifesto-street", a contemporary resistance to unconsciousness, to the gentrification processes of NOLO (North of Loreto). With a focus of a new site-specific project presenting the queer "sacred" gesture of Via Arquà. 2018 - ongoing. Cassata Drone Expanded Archive (CDEA) is an international, independent art platform conceived also as a solo performance. CDEA is trying to outcast Sicilian stratification (a typical cassata cake as formal baroque and hybrid gaze) and military drone weapon "penetrations" around the Sigonella (Catania, Italy) military compound.
The first show "Cassata Drone" was produced with artworks by Raqs Media Collective, MDR, Stefano Cagol (show curated by Giovanni Rendina and managed by Chiara Bordin) 14th june - 5th oct. 2018 with a closing party "Cassata Connection" at Villa Virginia feat. Joie Jacono & Alexander Darkish. Désolé was a solo show of mine feat. Alterazioni Video curated by Izabela Anna Moren & Giuseppina Vara with a closing performance by Il Pavone. Preferire l'ombra is the third exhibition displayed from 25 Sept. to 30 Oct. 2019 at Fondazione Sant'Elia (Loggiato di San Bartolomeo) with James Bridle (first outdoor intervention in Italy), Valentina Furian, Paolo Cirio, Marco Strappato, Il Pavone and curated by Giacomo Pigliapoco and Luca Gennati. 2015 - ongoing #progettokoleos is an exploration of advertisement "Padanias" (north italian flate plane) as state of mind. A project in which car design and coleopter’s are melting to “invade” Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation spaces in Venice, Italy. The emotional relationship with the Suv Low Medium Class (Renault Koleos) is delivered to the public in the form of performances and installation in site-specific chapters featuring among others Marco Barotti, Alexander Darkish.
